For ongoing study, an appropriate textbook or set of materials may be recommended so that your sessions have a coherent structure and each stage builds meaningfully on the last.

Contemporary language or opera text?
This service is designed for modern Italian and French: the language used in contemporary conversation, writing, study, travel, and professional life.
If you would like to work on an Italian aria, art song, recitative, role, or libretto, Italian Opera Text Coaching is the more appropriate service. Those sessions address the historical, poetic, rhetorical, and dramatic qualities of Italian performance texts, as well as their implications for diction, phrasing, breath, and character.
